War of Dark Age version 1.1.0

WALKTHROUGH (spoiler file)

IMPORTANT! BE SURE TO HAVE READ THE OTHER FILES BEFORE READING THIS! I WON'T EXPLAIN MANY IMPORTANT THINGS HERE, AS THEY ARE INCLUDED IN THE OTHER FILES ALSO (things like the tactics against certain enemies, weapons, quest rewards, etc).

First of all, you start on the ship. You can not do much there (apart from falling down :) lol). The ship will get electrificed by the storm, and you will find yourself soon in a human town (rather village). You have some money, so you can start buying stuff. I'd advise to buy only potions (you will find few potions and coins for a long time, and you will need to HP a lot). The bows you can buy at this point are quite useless, and you will also have very little need for swords, as your starting dagger and blade will be enough for a while. You can visit the mayor also, his bodyguard may have some useful tips... other townsfolk may also say some nice gossips. ;)

When you finished going around in this town, you better leave to adventure, as the ship which brought you here is now done for sure. Leave the town via the gates, and go into the Traitor's Plain (a little cutscene will show you when you have arrived there). Take your dagger, and slash your human opponents. Never forget to be aggressive - the human fighters will kill you in an instance if you leave them to attack. So do not do that, attack nonstop. (Humans will be quite MOSTLY generous - only one will attack you once). Kill all the fighters here, as not so many of them carries items, but you need everything you can get. Try to avoid being hurt so early in the game! You'll need HP later a lot.
This scene has only one trick. The gate will not open. It is not a bug that you cannot pull the switch in the house - you need to pull one OUTSIDE the house, at the chimney. Then you can pull the switch in the house, and the gate will lower, leaving you free to go! :D

The next act is the lava place. Do not jump into the lava, as it may be unhealthy ;). You can kill the male undeads, but leave the floating liches alone, as you cannot really harm them with your current weaponry. You can run instantly to the leaving of the scene (go to the nearest green beam you can see, run through it. It will lead you to a little brick island, with a ship, two towers and three undead on it. That's the exit area). You may also visit the death mage, who will ask a dragon soulstone from you... but since you have none with yourself, you better go. At the end of this scene, you will find some strange things, in a rectangle shape. You can go into it, it will teleport you to somewhere.

You will arrive in the desert. You can kill the good-old-wartoks and orcs here if you like (the katana will be excellent, just as the weapons you could get in the human or undead wildernesses). You'll find the friendly dragons here also, in a cave not far from your arrival place. There will the dragon leader, Jerin explain that they have some troubles, as his friends soulstone "disappeared". What a lazy dragon band, oh well. :) You can kill everything which moves here, but if you wanna be fast, I let you know where the crystal is. A wartok carries it, right before the tower with a ballista on it (be sure to kill that base there. You'll find a gold coin, which could be pretty helpful later!). Once you have the crystal, you can choose - who do you help? Dragons or the liche?
(By the way - you can venture in the snowy realm also. You will see the cutscene, however, it is full with REALLY NASTY dragons, who will shoot at you... and you'll find nothing, as dragons do not really carry stuff with them.)

FOR LIGHT-SIDE PLAYERS

You will find yourself in the cave enterance, with Keil, your new dragon "partner". Since he'll be a powerful ally, you better strengthen him. Go into the snowy realm, and fly above the wooden bridge. Face the nearby wall, strafe while you see a lightning powerup. Pick it up (it may be hard, as it is protected with a wind magic). When you got it, fly back into the desert, and search the mines of Dan Atar. Near the enterance, when you look around, you will find a small pit with a big blade dragon inside. Once you kill that (might not be easy though!) you will get the poison breath as well. Now you only need to complete some missions to toughen your heroes up, and then you can get yourself ready for the big fights!

MISSIONS

 1. Whistlebone's armor.
One of the harder missions. You will find a ruined sanctuary in the desert, not far from the dragon cave's enterance, in the same wall. Go in, and you will find yourself in a barbarian fortress. When you'll be at the statues, go right. In the sleeping quarters, pick a key up from one of the beds (that might be hard to spot. Taking your Dagger of Light into your hands will lit all the items nearby, that could help). When you got it, go into the opposite room (kitchen). Kill all the knights, and pull the trigger. The way to the Coloumn Hall is now free!
Inside there, kill everything which moves (lightning could be efficient in the crowd). When you are about the leave the room (no more coloumns ahead), do not go out - turn left, and walk between the wall and the coloumns. You will pass a key lock, and will arrive to the second. Put your key into it, a door will appear. Inside there, you will find 5 rooms - 4 hidden by secret doors yet though. From room to room you need to kill the undeads and pull the triggers. In the last room you'll find another key. Take it (you'll need that later).
Go back, and go out from the Coloumn Hall. Turn right, and put the new key into the keyhole on the wall. The door to the temple will open. Go in the temple (ahead), kill the liches, and turn the lever.
Once finished, go back. Do not go into the Coloum Hall, just go down at the end of that passway. You will find pretty some knights there. Kill them. Clear the whole place. At the end of it, you will find a small room with two liches, and a lever inside. Kill the liches, pull the lever. Rest a bit, it is not so long now. :) Go through the broken wall, and Eylin will mention a "hole in the ceiling". Do not go back, but ahead. You'll find a knight. Kill him, and pick up the key he drops. NOW go back with Keil, go up, back to the Coloumn Hall. There go between the wall and the coloumns again (same way as first), and now stop at the first keyhole (it is golden). Put the key into it, and a secret door will revail a new room. Go in, and there is that ceil. Now you can go down with Keil also... kill all the flying liches inside, and find the hidden temple within. Pull the lever there, and go back to the Coloumn Room. Go down again, because the last hidden door opened! Go in. A red dragon mage will be there, but he'll teleport as you spot him. Oh well. Pick the armor there up (it's Whistlebone's), and the quest is completed! You can go out now, as you have nothing else to do here any longer.

 2. Potion problems
Plain mission. You will find the potion at a common enemy in an area (I forgot where though now).

 3. Rescue
Jerin will ask you to free his friends, who were lost. Oh well, why not? They are in the mines of Dan Atar, in the desert area. Go there, and go down into the mine (a long and dark way). The mine will be sealed by a door. Do not give up. It is vulnerable, as Keil said. Blast it! (Do not be near though. The devesating door may kill you!). Now go in. Kill the ghost wartok (better do with Keil, they are tough opponents!). Go in. Go right as you are told, and when the conversation ends, go back into the middle area. You will see a door with a lever. Do not open it yet. Go on, and you will see another door in the wall this time. Blast it (it is also vulnerable, but takes a while to blast it). Inside you will meet some ghosts, weapons, potions - and a key. Pick it up (use your dagger again to spot objects). NOW go to the lever, and pull it. The door opens, leaving you to go inside the grimstone mining shaft. Hm, many things died here recently! Better be cautious. Do not forget that grimstone is dangerous to the health! Leave Keil outside, you will get on better if only Eylin breathes the poisonus air in. Find a dead wartok inside, and his key will be near him. (TIP: a grimstone damages you when you are inside it's green light radius. mainly). When you have this key also, go back to where you spoke to the "voices" (prisoners). Open the docks. Kill everything within. You will see a dead wartok with two tables. You can read the scrolls, but be sure to pick up the key nearby then. Go back to the prison, open both doors with your keys. You'll get a letter as a proof - and you have freed them!

 4. Library... and books
Not an easy one. You will find the entrance in the lava lands, near the liche's house. Go in, and on. You have to leave Keil soon... you must go in alone. It is advisable to only do this quest when you will have at least one spell. Kill the librarian, and go on. You will find a floor full of letters. If you have no idea what to do (and have read the scroll there), I give a little help :) . You can only walk on the certain letters, all other (false) letter mean instant death. The right letters are from the sounds of a horns: TATATATAAAA! T and A ;). When you have went through this, you will have to read a scroll again... you will see a BIG pit. It is not hard. You will see a little part of floor "in the air". Walk onto it, and walk on. If you are walking straight towards the other side (and in the correct way), you will walk through there in the air. You will now only have to kill the librarian again, and then get back to Keil when you have the book. (You may only pick up the book when you have defeated the mad spirit again.)

 5.Dragons
This mission mainly goes in the snowy realm. Fly to the big hill in the middle, and go down in the cave. A few dragons will ask you to wipe the evil dragon there out. It won't be really easy, as he will summon enemies a few times... two times orcs, 1 times wartoks, and then two crimson knights. After these, he will try to kill you himself... kill him, and pick the potion up (which he drops).

 6. Duel
A knight will duel you in the Traitor's land. He is though, so you better use magic again (swords usually won't have enough durability points). When you kill him, he will drop a statue. Two people in the human town will demand that....

BUNOS MISSION
 Ade
He seeks the dragonslayer sword, to assure it won't be used against him. You can find that at a common enemy somewhere (forgot where now).

FINISHING

You need to kill the enemy commander. Fly into the wartok town, and get to the leader of them. Kill him, and then pick the FLAWED sword up (the Runeblade was broken into Navaros, remember? ;) ). Go back to the desert wilderness, go into Tristam (portal near the town wall). Fix the blade with the Ravenlord (he will tell you that he can do it after you spoke with nearly everyone there). Then go to the temple, where you can see the red or blue lights. Each one represents a different ending..... good luck! :)

FOR DARK-SIDE PLAYERS

MISSIONS

 1. Potion
Easy one. A common enemy holds it somewhere (forgot it where... :( ).

 2.Potions again..... -_-
Not more difficult one. Go to the snowy realm, and go right. You will spot a cave soon. Go in, and kill all the dragons inside. The last one will drop you a dragonblood potion, and there you are.

 3. Assassination
It is also in the snowy realm. Go through the green forcefield, and go into the cave nearby where you arrive. It is a long cave, full with enemies. Kill them, then go down with the moving pad. There go out from the cave ( a bit long again ). Outside you will see a few battles, do not care with them. If you keep standing too long, you will be (rightfully) recongnized as the enemy leader, and will be attacked! Go up on the hill (path begins behind the trees nearby on the right), and go till the very top of the hill. (You should have at least one magic to kill all the foes opposing you here). There, on the top, kill the archer, and pick his good-o-gun up. It is a sniper rifle. Go to the end of the wooden platform there, and from there you can snipe the enemy leader out. That's all! Go back, and get your reward (Nightshade Amulet).

 4. Thieves Den
It is in the lava realm, near the liche's house. Go in. You will soon see letters on the floor. You can only walk on the right ones, or you die! Read the scroll. Otto made sure they'll remember his name... so keep repeating: OTTO. OTTO. OTTO. Which letters should be right? O and T ;). Go through this maze, then you'll see a room with boxes. Push boxes so you can jump up on the tallest ones, and pick they keys up from there (you'll need 3 keys). Then find all the locks in the room, and unlock them. A door opens, and you will be able to get the Royal Hammer at the end of that room! (You might could not see it. I don't know why is that... but you can pick it up, if you have 3x1 free spaces in your inventory. It is in the very end of that storage room).

 5. Base defence
In the human land. Go into the valley between the two big flags, take the turning on the right. Go into the cave at the end of the valley. Go on, you will see a big battle. Wait till your minions kill the enemy (be aware! you can be attacked even heavily meanwhile!). Go on, kill the enemy archers. Go on again, till the cannons. You can pull the cannons' levers to fire, pull again to reload, pull again to fire... (cannons may "freeze" - they will not shoot, or perhaps won't stop shooting. Keep pulling the levers until they act normal). A few ebon knights should soon come, and if you kill them, one of them should drop the Rune you seek.

 6. Duel
A knight will duel you in the Traitor's land. He is though, so you better use magic again (swords usually won't have enough durability points). When you kill him, he will drop the dragonslayer sword.

FINISHING

You need to kill the human city's inhabitants. Do it. When leaving the city, you will be asked what sword you take. Take the flawed. Go back into the desert, go into Tristam. Speak with everyone at least once, then with the Ravenlord again. He will fix your broken sword if you give it to him... do it. Then you can go into the rift via the blue or red things near the temple. Congratulations! :)
